Project

For this museum rebrand I wanted a long lasting wordmark that is appropriate to a internationally recognized museum. The logo needed to be simple, clear, and strong and also relate to Dali’s mind-bending, surrealist artwork.
I used a strong bold san-serif font as the logotype, and added a subtle wavy I at the end. The I references Dali’s surrealism and is also a representation of the feminine muse in his life, his wife Gala. The posters represent Dali’s mind, different and out of the box, and are filled with quotes he has said.
