With over 320,000 fitness apps, not even 10% are marketed towards youth athletes and kids. Outside of community sports, there aren't many options for youth to explore opportunities to exercise and enjoy the rewards of playing in an active environment.
Nike Rise targets youth athletes in middle school to help them further their interest in sports through trainings by Nike athletes, motivation through achievements, and a social aspect that allows kids to connect with friends and challenge them to activities that will fuel friendly competition. The visual direction helps youth athletes visualize the growth they have ahead of them and what's possible for their careers ahead as they rise to the top.
