Project

AKG practices self-directed design projects as formal exercises to inform client-based work. Each exercise begins with an open-ended prompt. In September of 2019, the prompt read, “Space Exploration”. The team spent the month extrapolating ideas of space which, after reviews of formal critique, were displayed as a poster series. These forms have continued to reappear in our work, most notably as a Nascar car design in the Bank of America Roval 400 on NBC.
