The Ogden Symphony and Ballet Association approached us to help them rebrand themselves into a more approachable organization, in order to attract a wider audience and spread the gospel of live music and performance art. This included crafting a new name, determining brand strategy and messaging, and, of course, establishing a strong visual identity. Working with the staff at the then-called Ogden Symphony and Ballet Association (OSBA), we determined that the new name of the organization would be Onstage Ogden – a name that rolls off the tongue a little better than the original. Following this renaming and initial strategy work, we crafted a new, approachable visual identity that – like the new name – is fun and vibrant, but still maintains a level of sophistication. Additionally, attention was paid to the flexibility of the design system to ensure that it could accommodate the variety of performances hosted by OnOg.
