There are many every-day products in retail aisles that lack interesting package design. The goal of this project was to choose one of these items and create a brand and package for it that would stand out. First aid supplies are oversaturated with blue boxes with images of bandages and stagnant design so I knew that was the direction I would go. I wanted it to be a witty bandage company that would knock out the competition with its bold design. After some research, I brainstormed the company name, Rumble and Ramble. I sketched and digitized a logo based on the name and vision for the company. The wordmark is made up of jumbled, dynamic letters to reference the tumbles of everyday life, boxing gloves as a symbol of toughness, and polka dots that reflect the texture of the product.
Clever sayings accompany the interior and exterior of the packaging to reflect the brand's personality by adding humor to minor inconvenient injuries. The packaging itself was designed to be efficient, portable, and aims to limit its impact on the environment. The brand identity paired with the unique packaging sets it apart from competitors.
