Article about pro golfer Tony Finau's journey to become one of the world's top golfers—while also staying true to to his top priorities in life: faith and family.
The audience of this magazine is typically not heavily into golf, so in addition to the nicely shot portraits of the subject, we also needed some visuals to add interest, help tell the story, and provide some underlying hints to help readers understand the conceptual connection the author was making between Tony's efforts to perfect his golf game as well as his spiritual and family relationships. Custom illustrations and typography help tell the story, provide some simple golf visuals to illustrate concepts, and provide color and themed elements to move the story along in a friendly way for both golf aficionados and those not so familiar with it.
