The U of U Department of Theatre had the unique opportunity this year to use photographs of the actual cast members in the design of the season artwork. Bold colors, beautiful photography, and hand-drawn illustration make this year’s season artwork a stunning success. This season’s branding is cohesive, yet provides a unique and distinct identity for each production. This year’s season branding has been widely successful and well-received. While most professional theatre companies or theatre departments may use design studios or a full-time graphic design team, the U of U Department of Theatre produces beautiful and unique season artwork with the work of just two staff members (one graphic designer and one marketing/communications specialist) and a contracted photographer. Our Theatre department not only has noteworthy productions, but noteworthy design to compliment and promote those productions.
